Goldust Studios is a Chicago hair salon with a personality all its own. Working closely with founder and creative visionary Emily Katz, we set out to create a website that captured her distinct aesthetic: a little Fleetwood Mac, a lot of 1970s hair and just the right amount of witchy rock 'n' roll attitude. Our initial design directions were dubbed Occult Glamour, Disco Hangover and Teenage Dream, where we explored a visual world that felt nostalgic, glamorous and unapologetically bold.

The result is a website that feels unmistakably Goldust. The visual identity has since taken on a life of its own, with the Goldust team extending the aesthetic across their social media and beyond. Annual photoshoots keep the website fresh and evolving, ensuring the brand continues to reflect the creativity and ethos behind the salon.
